Binciken da muka yi a baya ya nuna cewa shafa zare masu tacewa da man bishiyar shayi mai aiki a jiki (TTO) a gaba yana ƙara ingancin tattarawar sinadaran dumama, iska, da sanyaya iska (HVAC) na yau da kullun, kuma yana ba da damar rage ƙwayoyin cuta da fungi da aka kama a saman matattara cikin sauƙi da sauri. Babban manufar wannan binciken shine bincika ayyukan ƙwayoyin cuta na ƙwayoyin cuta guda biyu na halitta, wato man TTO da man eucalyptus (EUO), akan kwayar cutar mura da aka kama a saman matattara. An gano cewa duka man da aka gwada suna da ƙarfin kariya daga ƙwayoyin cuta lokacin da aka yi amfani da su azaman kayan shafa na zare, waɗanda ke iya hana ƙwayoyin cuta da aka kama a cikin mintuna 5-10 bayan tuntuɓar saman zare. An kuma yi nasarar ƙalubalantar aikin rigakafi na TTO a cikin siffar aerosol ta hanyar haɗa ƙwayoyin cuta masu rai a cikin iska tare da digo mai a cikin ɗakin aerosol mai juyawa. Gabatarwa
Idan aka yi la'akari da gaskiyar cewa ƙwayoyin cuta da aka tattara suna nan a saman matattarar, ba za a iya yin watsi da wasu yiwuwar rabuwarsu da sake mayar da su ga mai ɗaukar iskar gas ba. Ƙwayoyin da aka sake mayar da su na iya kasancewa da rai suna haifar da manyan haɗari ga mazauna da muhalli. Ana iya magance wannan matsalar ta hanyar ƙara magungunan kashe ƙwayoyin cuta a cikin mai ɗaukar iskar gas ko kuma yin wasu hanyoyin hana aiki kai tsaye a saman matattarar, wanda hakan ke sa ƙwayoyin cuta su daina aiki idan akwai yiwuwar sake sake samar da iskar gas.
Akwai wasu hanyoyin fasaha da ake da su don kashe ƙwayoyin cuta. Sun haɗa da rushewar ƙwayoyin cuta a saman titanium oxide wanda hasken ultraviolet ya haskaka (UV; Vohra et al. 2006; Grinshpun et al. 2007), rushewar zafi ta hanyar infrared (IR) ta hanyar radiation (Damit et al. 2011), amfani da sinadarai kai tsaye a cikin mai ɗaukar iska ko kuma a shafa a saman tacewa (Pyankov et al. 2008; Huang et al. 2010), da sauransu. Daga cikin nau'ikan magungunan kashe ƙwayoyin cuta daban-daban, wasu man na halitta suna da kyau saboda ƙarancin ko rashin guba, musamman a cikin nau'in da aka narkar (Carson et al. 2006). A cikin shekaru goma da suka gabata, an tantance nau'ikan mai mai mahimmanci daga tsire-tsire don tantance aikin ƙwayoyin cuta (Reichling et al. 2009).
An nuna yiwuwar amfani da mai, kamar man itacen shayi (TTO) da man eucalyptus (EUO), a matsayin magungunan kashe ƙwayoyin cuta a cikin binciken da aka yi kwanan nan a cikin vitro game da maganin kashe ƙwayoyin cuta (Wilkinson da Cavanagh 2005; Carson et al. 2006; Salari et al. 2006; Hayley da Palombo 2009), maganin kashe ƙwayoyin cuta (Hammer et al. 2000; Oliva et al. 2003), da ayyukan kashe ƙwayoyin cuta (Schnitzler et al. 2001; Cermelli et al. 2008; Garozzo et al. 2011). Bugu da ƙari, an nuna cewa man mai mahimmanci gauraye ne daban-daban, tare da bambancin abubuwa da yawa, ya danganta da yanayin girma a gonakin (Kawakami et al. 1990; Moudachirou et al. 1999). Aikin maganin ƙwayoyin cuta na TTO an danganta shi ne da terpinen-4-ol (35–45%) da 1,8-cineole (1–6%); duk da haka, wasu abubuwa kamar a-terpineol, terpinolene, da a- da c-terpinene suma galibi suna nan kuma suna iya taimakawa wajen kashe ƙwayoyin cuta (Mayu et al. 2000). EUO daga nau'ikan Eucalyptus daban-daban ya ƙunshi 1,8-cineole, a-pinene, da a-terpineol a matsayin manyan sinadarai na gama gari (Jemâa et al. 2012). A cikin waɗannan nazarin, an yi amfani da TTO a matsayin duka biyun, yana ƙara ingancin tacewa da kuma maganin kashe ƙwayoyin cuta akan ƙwayoyin cuta da fungal da aka kama a saman matattarar. Idan aka yi la'akari da sha'awar da ake da ita a yanzu game da binciken da ya shafi mura, wannan binciken ci gaba ne na bincikenmu na baya tare da mai da hankali kan kimanta ayyukan ƙwayoyin cuta na mai mai mahimmanci (TTO da EUO) akan hana ƙwayoyin cuta na iska.
